Vibe of nature in Bao Loc

    Life Experience
    Life Experience
I recently enjoyed a wonderful 3-day trip to Bao Loc, a city in the central highlands of Vietnam. I chose this destination because I was amazed by my previous trip to Ta Dung (which is also in central Vietnam), and I wanted to discover more of Vietnam's beautiful highland regions.
I'm writing this blog to share my experience here. Hope it can be helpful for planning your own trip!

    1. Transportation and Accommodation

    Transportation
    • I started from Ho Chi Minh City and took the Dien Linh limousine. I departed at 12 AM and arrived in Bao Loc around 5:45 AM.
    • I rented a motorbike at my homestay to travel around Bao Loc.

    • I had a great experience here. The view is amazing, with good equipment, nice staff, and reasonable pricing.
    • When I came home, the homestay give me a package of their vegetable, which grow in this farm stay.
    • One thing to note: Since it's about 7km from the city center and there are no street lights at night, I recommend returning early to avoid a scary driving experience in the dark.

    2. Damb'ri Waterfall

This is a must-visit destination in Bao Loc. There is a tourist area here with several services available. The highlights are Dasara Waterfall and Damb'ri Waterfall, both of them are very impressive.

    3. Other Places to Visit

Bao Loc is famous for its tea plantations, so be sure to visit one and enjoy the fresh air and lush greenery. It's absolutely cinematic.

    Hidden gem in this trip

There are also several churches in Bao Loc with unique architecture. I didn't get a chance to take pictures, but there’s a beautiful church near my homestay. It combines local style with traditional church architecture, creating a distinctive look.

    4. Food

I couldn’t find a signature local dish, but the food here is still very good. The dish that impressed me the most was bun rieu on Quang Trung street. Many locals recommended that I should try it.
